JUNIOR TO INTERMEDIATE ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANT

Job Description:
Exciting opportunities exist for Junior to Intermediate Environmental Consultants in our Calgary and Edmonton offices. The successful candidate(s) will be involved in various aspects of a variety of projects.
Responsibilities will include:
• Designing and conducting Detailed Site Assessments, Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, including drilling and soil sampling programs, conducting groundwater monitoring and sampling programs, interpreting analytical laboratory results, analyzing and interpreting the collected environmental data and writing technical reports; and
• Assisting with the design and implementation of remediation systems.
• Assisting with the implementation of reclamation activities.
• Coordination and completion of vegetation management activities.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess:
• Bachelor of Science degree or Masters of Science Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or other relevant Environmental Program along with 1 to 3 years of experience;
• Experience with environmental site assessments, soil sampling, groundwater monitoring and site remediation is required;
• Registration with a professional organization as either a professional or in-training is desirable; and
• Possess strong interpersonal skills, communication skills and technical writing skills and be able to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team and independently.
Compensation:

PROJECT MANAGER

Job Description:
Exciting opportunities exist for Project Managers in our Calgary and Edmonton offices. The successful candidate(s) will be involved in various aspects of a variety of projects.
Reporting to Operation Managers, the Project Manager will:
• Complete and/or oversee field work and reports for Pre-Disturbance Assessments, Detailed Site Assessments, Soil and Groundwater Monitoring Programs, Underground Storage Tank Closure Reports, Phase I, II and III ESAs for the oil & gas industry and reclamation activities.
• Prepare and submit Reclamation Certificate Applications.
• Track project status and cost control for clients.
• Review contractor invoices.
• Coordinate field staff and assist field staff in report preparation.
• Liaise with clients, regulatory and environmental agencies.
• Communicate regulatory changes or updates to staff and employees.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
• Bachelor of Science degree or Masters of Science Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or other relevant Environmental Program along with a minimum of 3 years of experience. In addition, candidate should have applicable professional designation. Candidates who are not designated, but who are eligible for designation, will also be considered.
• Experience in soil and groundwater contaminated sites monitoring and remediation/reclamation programs.
• Strong familiarity with EUB Directives 50 and 58, Alberta Environment Reclamation Criteria, Alberta Tier 1 and 2 Guidelines and CCME guidelines.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills, communication skills and technical writing skills and be able to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team and independently.

Job Description:
An exciting opportunity exists for Senior Environmental Consultant as the Nothern Operaitons Manager in our Edmonton office.
The successful candidate will oversee all TLS staff within the Edmonton office and support the coordination of specific client’s reclamation and remediation portfolios and be involved in various aspects of a variety of projects.
Reporting to the Calgary Operations Managers, the Northern Operations Manager will:
• Coordinate, oversee and provide mentorship of junior to intermediate staff with respect to the completion of field work and reports for Pre-Disturbance Assessments, Detailed Site Assessments, Soil and Groundwater Monitoring Programs, Phase I, II and III ESAs for the oil & gas industry and commercial property transactions. Minimal field work maybe required for specialty projects, safety audits and staff training.
• Prepare and submit Reclamation Certificate Applications.
• Budget development for annual reclamation and remediation programs, tracking of project status and cost control for clients.
• Liaise with clients, regulatory and environmental agencies.
• Communicate regulatory changes or updates to staff and employees.
• Understand and provide leadership with respect to TerraLogix's and client's Health and Safety Policies and OH&S procedures.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
• Bachelor of Science degree or Masters of Science Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology or other relevant Environmental Program along with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
